Job Description – Head of Social Media / Lead Social Media ManagerPosition Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Social Media to lead, manage, and oversee a team of social media managers across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a cohesive social media strategy, ensuring brand consistency, driving engagement, and achieving measurable business goals. This leadership role requires strong management skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of social media managers.
  • Allocate tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance.
  • Provide training, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Strategy Development & Execution
  • Develop and oversee the execution of social media strategies across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Align strategies with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media.
  • Content & Branding
  • Ensure brand tone, voice, and messaging remain consistent across all channels.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality, and innovative content.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams for campaigns and promotions.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and generate reports.
  • Optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Provide senior management with clear reports on social media ROI.
  • Collaboration & Campaigns
  • Work closely with marketing, PR, sales, and design teams to support cross-channel campaigns.
  • Manage influencer and partnership collaborations.
  • Oversee paid social media advertising strategies.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management
  • Monitor online conversations and manage brand reputation.
  • Address and resolve escalated customer concerns on social platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of all major social media platforms and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in social media analytics and reporting.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
