Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and brand strategy. You will work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns, analyze performance data, and contribute fresh ideas that help grow our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support SEO/SEM efforts including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Help manage and update the company website and landing pages.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and social media dashboards.
  • Assist in coordinating events, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sales, and product to ensure brand consistency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing a personal or professional social media account with demonstrated growth.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Portfolio of writing samples, design work, or past campaign projects.
