Social Media Marketing Intern

<Overview>
We’re seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team! This paid internship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful campaigns across multiple platforms. Hours are flexible and variable. Pay will be discussed at the time of interview.

<Responsibilities>

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Create compelling content
• Manage social media scheduling and postings
• Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and audience feedback; analyze data with Google Analytics and web analytics tools.
• Collaborate with the team on branding initiatives, content creation, photography, and video editing projects to enhance visual storytelling.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages professionally while fostering positive relationship management.
• Conduct keyword research for SEO optimization of social media content and blog posts related to digital marketing efforts.
• Assist in preparing reports on campaign performance metrics and social media insights for continuous improvement.

<Requirements>

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field or currently working to build portfolio thru hands on learning.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles, web analytics (Google Analytics), and keyword research techniques.
• Experience with video editing tools and photography is a plus.
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail for content creation.
• Familiarity with public relations strategies and branding concepts.
