Position Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Intern (SMM Intern) to join our creative marketing team. This role is ideal for a motivated, imaginative individual who enjoys creating content, exploring social trends, and learning digital marketing strategies in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will work closely with the Marketing Lead to create, schedule, and publish content that enhances Octacer’s online presence and strengthens our brand voice across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Design engaging posts, reels, and stories for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Caption Writing: Write clear, attention-grabbing captions with effective CTAs and relevant hashtags.
• Scheduling & Posting: Follow the content calendar and use scheduling tools to ensure consistent posting.
• Trend Research: Identify and apply the latest social media trends, viral formats, and creative strategies.
• Basic Video Editing: Edit short-form videos and promotional content for reels and campaigns.
• Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking analytics and preparing engagement reports.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain Octacer’s tone, design style, and creative direction in all digital content.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
• Proficiency in Canva, Figma, or other visual design tools.
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, collaborate, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) is a plus.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animations, or social media analytics tools is an added advantage.
