Social Media Marketing Specialist

Location: Hybrid – NYC preferred (remote possible)
Hours: Part-time, 10–20 hrs/week

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Editor to help bring our ideas to life across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves storytelling through short-form video, and can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content.

You’ll work directly with a professional fashion model to edit and publish content that captures runway moments, fittings, shoots, styling sessions, and travel — helping to build a strong, cohesive online presence and deepen engagement with a fashion-minded audience.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
• Add captions, transitions, trending audio, and graphics to enhance storytelling
• Repurpose BTS and campaign footage into multiple clips for different platforms
• Ensure videos are optimized for platform (aspect ratio, length, subtitles, hooks)
• Research trends, sounds, and viral formats weekly and pitch ideas
• Maintain brand consistency in tone, style, and aesthetic
• Organize raw footage and maintain a content library

Requirements

• 1–2+ years experience editing for social media (personal or professional)
• Proficiency with CapCut, Final Cut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow
• Eye for aesthetics – understands lighting, framing, and brand style
• Passion for TikTok/Instagram culture and current trends
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently on tight deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Canva or other design tools
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics to track content performance
• Photography or filming experience
• Interest in fashion industry ideal!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
