Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation, and analytics to optimize campaigns across various channels.
Duties
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create compelling content for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry trends.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Engage with followers through relationship management, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and enhance visibility on search engines.
- Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
- Assist in public relations efforts by crafting press releases and managing media inquiries.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, e-commerce strategies, and best practices in social media management.
- Proofread all content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Create video content as needed for promotional purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media marketing or related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research techniques.
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for proofreading.
- Experience with Google Analytics for tracking campaign performance.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
