Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, content creation, and analytics to optimize our online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content tailored to each platform, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling and managing social media posts.
  • Conduct social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry trends.
  • Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and web analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the graphic design team to produce visually appealing content using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Manage relationships with influencers and partners for potential collaborations.
  • Conduct keyword research to enhance SEO efforts within social media content.
  • Implement Facebook Advertising campaigns to promote products and services effectively.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices in e-commerce.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in content creation and branding.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content.
  • Experience with public relations strategies and relationship management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics to track performance metrics.
  • Basic photography skills for creating original visual content; video editing experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
