Social Media & PR Representative

Tariq Riaz is a luxury jewelry atelier that does things differently. We don’t sell through retail stores. We don’t follow trends. We handcraft every piece in our studio, hold international patents on our signature AbrazoFit™ expandable technology, and sell directly to clients who value authenticity over logos. Our work has been featured on CNN and in major international publications, and we exhibit at prestigious jewelry shows across the Gulf and beyond.

We’re looking for someone to join us daily — not as an agency, not as a freelancer who checks in once a week — but as a true creative partner who sits at the table with us, understands how we think and build, and helps translate that into a compelling brand presence across social media, press, and public relations.

Founded by Tariq Riaz — an engineer turned master jeweler — our atelier bridges Silicon Valley innovation with old-world craftsmanship. Every ring, bracelet, and pendant is designed and handcrafted in our studio in Abu Dhabi. Our Heritage Collection celebrates the rich culture of the Arabian Peninsula, while our patented expandable ring technology solves a real problem no one else has addressed.

Our philosophy is rooted in silent luxury — the belief that exceptional craftsmanship speaks for itself. We reject the noise of mass marketing and instead tell stories that connect with people who appreciate what goes into creating something truly special by hand.

The Role

This is an embedded, daily collaboration. You will work directly with the founder to shape and execute the brand’s voice across every channel. That means you’ll be in the studio, understanding the process behind each piece, witnessing the craftsmanship firsthand, and turning that into content that resonates.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage daily social media content across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms — in both English and Arabic.
  • Craft the overall brand narrative and messaging strategy, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints from exhibition booths to social captions.
  • Create behind-the-scenes content that showcases our handcrafting process, studio life, and the engineering behind our patented designs.
  • Plan and execute PR outreach to journalists, lifestyle publications, and luxury media outlets in the Gulf region and internationally.
  • Manage exhibition and event communications, including pre-show buzz, live coverage from jewelry shows in Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and beyond.
  • Build and nurture relationships with media contacts, influencers, and cultural tastemakers who align with our brand values.
  • Develop bilingual content strategies that connect with Gulf audiences while maintaining international appeal.
  • Track performance metrics and continuously refine our approach based on what’s working.
  • Collaborate on campaign concepts for new collection launches, especially our Heritage Collection celebrating Arabian Peninsula culture.

Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of experience in social media management, PR, or brand communications — ideally in luxury, fashion, design, or lifestyle sectors.
  • You’re a strong visual storyteller who understands that luxury isn’t about shouting — it’s about depth, authenticity, and restraint.
  • You’re fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken), with the ability to create compelling content in both languages.
  • You understand the Gulf market and its cultural nuances, while also having a global perspective.
  • You’re comfortable with fast-paced, founder-led environments where every day is different.
  • You have experience with photography, videography, or directing creative shoots (even with a smartphone).
  • You’re proactive, self-directed, and genuinely curious about craftsmanship, design, and the stories behind objects.
  • You appreciate that this brand doesn’t follow the typical retail playbook — and that excites you.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with independent or artisan brands (not just corporate accounts).
  • Familiarity with jewelry, watches, or luxury goods industries.
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid social, and performance marketing.
  • Experience managing press coverage and media kits for exhibitions or product launches.
  • A genuine passion for heritage, culture, and craftsmanship.
