We’re scaling fast and our marketing efforts revolve around producing world-class events for both prospective clients and partners. — and we’re looking for someone who can capture both the Howdy ethos and our experiences and broadcast them to the world.

We’re searching for a Social Media Producer who is a high quality content machine — a self-starter who can ideate, write, shoot, and edit their way through a fast-paced, high-output production schedule.

You’ll own the creative process from concept to final cut, crafting bold campaigns and content that grow our community across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. This is a hands-on, high-intensity role for someone who thrives under pressure, works the job (not the clock), and lives for the next great story.

You’ll join a small tight-knit team of creatives who live and breathe storytelling and work directly with Howdy’s leadership to develop both company and leadership brands. 

You’ll also be  reporting to an Emmy Award–winning former CNN political producer and editor (from back when television news still mattered). He may be old and terrible at TikTok, but his decades of live-production experience means he knows what is possible, and how to scale it. The deadlines will be real, the hours will be long, but they will be realistic and rewarding.

Content Creation & Execution

• Produce a steady stream of social video, live-video, and other content that feels authentic, dynamic, and impossible to scroll past.

• Ideate, plan, shoot, and edit content daily — from behind-the-scenes clips to high-production brand stories.

• Capture Howdy’s community experiences both in Austin and on the road — from international events to Austin’s top concerts and gatherings. Initial focus will be on the Austin and SF markets, but international travel also possible.

Social Strategy & Growth

• Drive measurable audience growth and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

• Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to build campaigns that convert — not just entertain.

• Analyze performance data weekly to optimize for reach, watch time, and conversions.

You’ll be expected to own your impact and deliver measurable results, including:

• 📈 Follower Growth: Increase followers by 1000%+ across all platforms in your first 6 month.

• 🎥 Content Velocity: Deliver a consistent cadence of 3–5 high-quality videos per week.

• 💬 Engagement: Boost average engagement rate to 5%+ per platform.

• 🔁 Brand Impact: Drive tangible growth in brand recall, inbound leads and brand mentions through social content.

• 5+ years of social media content production experience.

• Proven ability to ideate, write, shoot, and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, etc.).

• Camera experience.

• Editing expertise with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Resolve, and or CapCut. After Effects experience a nice to have.

• Comfort working under tight deadlines with a creative team that moves fast and pushes boundaries.

• Obsession with data, testing, and iteration.

• Experience in startups, B2B, or tech storytelling.

• Skills in motion graphics, animation, or drone videography.

• Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese.

• Comfortable directing or appearing on camera.
