Job Description

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Social Media Producer to join our existing Digital Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Social Media Producer is responsible for understanding the audience, monitoring breaking news, quickly responding to developments, producing posts, and providing content that will appeal to the target audience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, social media, or relevant field.
• Proven work experience in News or Mass Media channel.
• Ability to plan and manage competing deadlines and priorities.
• Sound editorial judgement.
• A clear, fluent writing style and an ability to produce strong headlines, summaries, and promotional texts in Arabic.
• A strong visual sense, experience in picture research and image editing skills using tools like Adobe Photoshop.
• Video editing skills and fluency in Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• An excellent command of Arabic and a clear speaking voice.
• Ability to work well with others in the production team and participants in the digital programs.
• Comfortable and natural in front of the camera and microphone.
• Interest and experience in a variety of topics, such as politics, business, sports, travel, technology, art, culture, and science.
• Knowledge of all types of online and social media analytics and insights.
• Excellent communication, analytical and multitasking skills.

Key Accountabilities

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks: Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences. Create social content, including production of original social video, multimedia assets, and editorial content. Distribute relevant content through social media platforms and TV websites/apps. Work with both written and visual content (Write script or text, film video, edit video, or edit photographs or images). Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily, in close coordination with the editorial and creative teams. Present ideas to reporters that can be developed into relevant stories. Create and manage publishing calendar across all platforms. Produce and present digital programs (Live and recorded). Ensure that all content or language published to social media platforms adheres to our editorial guidelines. Monitor interactions according to pre-defined community guidelines. Analyse data analytics and provides recommendations. Provide insight into emerging platforms, trends or behaviours on the web that will be advantageous to meeting our Vertical KPIs. Experiment with content creation and distribution strategies for new platforms. Stay up to date with current technologies, trends in social media, social media management tools, design tools and applications.
