Social Media Schedule Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented Social Media Schedule Officer to manage and plan the institute’s social media content calendar. The ideal candidate will ensure timely posting of content, maintain consistency across platforms, and coordinate with the design, video, and content teams to support effective digital communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage the social media content schedule
  • Coordinate with designers, video editors, and content writers for timely post delivery
  • Schedule posts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Ensure consistency in posting times and content strategy
  • Monitor upcoming events, admissions campaigns, and announcements for scheduling
  • Maintain a content calendar and weekly/monthly posting plan
  • Track post deadlines and ensure all content is published on time
  • Communicate with internal teams for revisions or updates
  • Support basic social media reporting and performance tracking

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and posting formats
  • Ability to coordinate with creative and marketing teams
  • Attention to detail and consistency in scheduling
  • Basic knowledge of content planning and digital workflow

Familiarity with tools such as:

  • Meta Business Suite
  • Hootsuite
  • Buffer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Media Studies / Business Administration or related field
  • Experience managing social media for institutes or organizations
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing
  • Ability to handle multiple pages and campaigns simultaneously
