Social Media Short-Form Video Editor

About the Role:
Reelax Media Limited is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Short-Form Video Editor to produce high-retention content for platforms like Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll transform raw footage into engaging videos that capture attention, drive engagement, and tell compelling stories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit talking-head and other social media content into dynamic short-form videos.
• Add captions, animated text, motion graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling.
• Use jump cuts, zoom-ins, pacing adjustments, and dynamic framing effectively.
• Incorporate b-roll, sound effects, music, and memes as needed.
• Manage multiple edits and high-volume tasks efficiently.
• Ensure consistent brand style and platform-optimized layouts.
• Export videos correctly for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years experience in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proven experience editing different types of content for social media.
• Confidence in story-driven edits with hooks, pacing, and flow.
• Comfortable with presets, templates, and sound design.
• Experience in color grading (Lumetri) and editing in multiple aspect ratios.
• Motion graphics and After Effects skills for connected, story-driven visuals.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to handle high-volume tasks without compromising quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience editing business, motivational, or podcast content.
• Knowledge of viral content trends and social media storytelling techniques.

Selection Process:
A short motion-graphics storytelling test will be part of the hiring process to evaluate your technical and creative skills.
