About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role is essential to continuing to build our brand's online presence and creating memorable, engaging experiences for our audience. As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a key part in executing strategies, fostering community engagement, and driving measurable results on social platforms. This is a full-time, hourly position where your passion for social media and strong communication skills will shine.
What You'll Do

Develop and implement effective social media strategies in alignment with overall marketing goals.

Plan, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content across all social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other media formats.

Manage the company’s online presence by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers in a timely and professional manner.

Monitor social media trends, tools, applications, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.

Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to assess performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaborate with the Marketing team to align social media campaigns with other promotional efforts and business objectives.

Support the development of paid social media campaigns and their optimization to maximize results.

Stay up-to-date on best practices, language-specific trends, and platform updates to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, preferably within a marketing department.

Proficient in creating engaging social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and others.

Strong understanding of social media analytics and ability to use data to inform strategies.

Excellent communication and copywriting skills in English.

Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas that align with brand messaging.

Knowledge of paid advertising on social media platforms is a plus.

Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.

Occasional travel to events, meetings and other collaborative outings

On-site role, must be within reasonable commute to Thousand Oaks, California
The pay range for this role is:
33 - 38 USD per hour(Thousand Oaks, California)
