Job Overview:
We’re looking for a creative, analytical, and exceptionally organized Social Media Specialist to lead StarTrader’s organic growth and content performance across platforms — including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, Threads, and X.You will be responsible for follower growth, engagement, retention, and conversion impact through powerful content, community management, and close collaboration with the Brand and Performance Marketing Departments. This role requires a strategic thinker, sharp writer, and proactive executor — someone who can craft engaging content, lead creative execution, manage active communities, and turn analytics into growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute data-driven organic strategies focused on follower growth, engagement, and retention.
- Align all content with StarTrader’s brand identity, target audience, and regional objectives.
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Department to align organic and paid growth goals.
2. Content Creation & Management
- Serve as the primary content writer, crafting engaging captions, posts, and short-form video scripts tailored to each platform.
- Manage the content calendar to ensure consistent posting, timely campaigns, and visual quality.
- Brief, guide, and follow up with designers and editors to ensure creative assets are impactful and brand-aligned.
- Maintain high organizational standards and time management for all deliverables.
3. Trendspotting & Research
- Track social media trends, hashtags, and formats relevant to finance, trading, and lifestyle audiences.
- Conduct keyword and behavioral research to identify searchable and trending content topics.
- Continuously update content strategies based on performance and market shifts.
4. Community Management
- Manage and grow Telegram and WhatsApp communities, ensuring active, positive, and informative engagement.
- Build and nurture relationships with followers, traders, and audiences across all platforms.
- Encourage discussions, share updates, and create community-driven initiatives to increase retention and loyalty.
- Respond promptly to community interactions and feedback (excluding customer service inquiries).
5. Competitor Analysis & Benchmarking
- Regularly monitor and benchmark against competitors’ social and community strategies.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to differentiate StarTrader’s content and community presence.
- Present monthly competitor insight reports with recommendations.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Measure, analyze, and report key metrics — follower growth, engagement rate, reach, retention, and conversion impact.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and visual dashboards.
- Share findings with Brand and Performance Marketing Departments to optimize overall content and campaign performance.
7. Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work directly with the Brand Department to maintain a unified tone, visual consistency, and creative direction.
- Partner with the Performance Marketing Department to ensure creatives and content align with paid growth objectives.
- Coordinate effectively across departments to ensure deadlines, priorities, and deliverables are met.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in forex, fintech, or trading industries.
- Proven record of growing followers, engagement, and community retention across multiple platforms.
- Exceptional content writing and storytelling skills with a deep understanding of audience psychology.
- Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, content trends, and growth tactics.
- Familiarity with Telegram, WhatsApp, and community-building best practices.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, Hootsuite, GA4, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to push creative execution and cross-department collaboration.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic or other regional languages a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
