Role Overview
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s online presence across all social platforms. This role involves creating engaging content, executing brand campaigns, monitoring performance analytics, and driving audience growth specifically tailored to the automobile market.
Key Responsibilities1. Content Creation & Management
- Develop, plan, and publish high-quality content (posts, reels, videos, stories) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
- Create automobile-specific content showcasing vehicles, features, launches, test drives, customer stories, and service highlights.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, and videographers for creative deliverables.
2. Social Media Strategy & Campaigns
- Assist in developing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and digital engagement.
- Execute product launch campaigns, dealership promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media opportunities.
3. Community Engagement
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly across all platforms.
- Manage online reputation by addressing customer feedback and coordinating with the CRM or sales team for leads.
- Engage with automobile communities, influencers, and enthusiasts to expand brand reach.
4. Social Media Advertising
- Plan and monitor paid ad campaigns for lead generation, brand awareness, and event promotion.
- Optimize campaigns to improve ROI, especially for test drive and showroom visit conversions.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report performance metrics including reach, engagement, followers, and lead conversions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to improve content performance.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or equivalent.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Experience with automotive brands (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Tools preferred).
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Insights, Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Social Media / Digital Marketing.
- Experience in the automobile industry or dealership marketing is an added advantage.
