Job Overview

Akbar Travels is looking for a highly experienced Social Media Specialist with strong expertise in both paid marketing and organic social media growth. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in managing GCC market campaigns and delivering measurable performance results.

This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong analytical skills to scale brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement full-funnel social media strategies for GCC & global markets
  • Plan and manage content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok & YouTube
  • Align campaigns with seasonal travel trends (Eid, Ramadan, Summer, National Days, etc.)
  • Drive engagement, follower growth, and brand positioning

Paid Social Media Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimize Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns
  • Manage lead generation, traffic, conversion & awareness campaigns
  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, copy, and targeting
  • Monitor ROI, CPL, CPA & ROAS
  • Work closely with performance marketing teams

Organic Growth & Community Management

  • Increase organic reach and engagement
  • Manage audience interactions, comments & inbox
  • Monitor brand reputation and sentiment
  • Implement engagement campaigns, contests & influencer collaborations

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze campaign performance using Meta Business Suite & GA4
  • Prepare weekly & monthly performance reports
  • Suggest optimization strategies based on insights
  • Track competitor and market trends in GCC

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience in Social Media & Paid Marketing
  • Strong experience in GCC market campaigns (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman)
  • Proven experience managing ad budgets efficiently
  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager
  • Knowledge of Google Ads (bonus)
  • Experience in travel or tourism industry preferred
  • Strong communication & content planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple regional campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Certifications in Meta Ads / Digital Marketing
  • Experience working with agencies or multi-branch organizations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
