The Social Media Team Lead will oversee the planning, development, and execution of the company’s social media strategy across all platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance, and leading a team to drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Identify key trends, audience insights, and competitive strategies to inform campaigns.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of social media specialists and content creators.
- Assign tasks, set KPIs, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns and content.
- Content & Campaigns:
- Oversee the creation and curation of engaging, platform-specific content (posts, reels, stories, videos, etc.).
- Manage paid social campaigns, ensuring optimal targeting, budget allocation, and ROI.
- Community Management:
- Monitor and respond to audience interactions across platforms to build a positive brand presence.
- Handle escalations and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, measure, and report on key social media metrics and campaign performance.
- Optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with design, content, and performance marketing teams for cohesive brand messaging.
- Coordinate with sales and product teams to support campaigns and promotions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube).
- Proven experience in leading and managing a social media team.
- Strong understanding of paid social campaigns, audience targeting, and platform algorithms.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
- Creative mindset with an eye for trends, visuals, and engagement tactics.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize strategies.
