Position: Social Media Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn).

Create short-form content such as reels, stories, ads, promos, and brand videos.

Add captions, transitions, effects, sound, and motion graphics to enhance videos.

Collaborate with the creative team on concepts, storyboards, and scripts.

Optimize videos according to platform formats, trends, and audience expectations.

Maintain a consistent brand look and feel across all visual content.

Select appropriate music, sound effects, and design elements.

Manage raw footage, organize files, and maintain project timelines.

Stay updated with latest social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats.

Deliver content within deadlines and ensure high-quality output.

Requirements & Skills

Proven experience as a video editor, preferably for social media.

Strong knowledge of editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, etc.).

Understanding of social media trends, aesthetics, and algorithms.

Basic knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop/Canva is a plus).

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Creative mindset with strong storytelling ability.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Film, Mass Communication, or relevant field (optional as per company policy).

3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
