About The Role

We are currently looking for a Dubai based Video Producer to join the UAE team. Working within a fun, dynamic and fast growing start up, this role provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills to a large and highly engaged audience. You will create buzzworthy, original video content about Dubai life for our Secret Dubai platforms.

Responsibilities

• Visit places throughout the city each week to shoot experiential videos (e.g., openings, events, pop up experiences, art galleries).
• Edit a wide range of social media videos: unscripted and scripted, using both original and archival footage.
• Quickly create edits and experiment with different versions, exploring multiple directions and current trends.
• Produce a polished final edit with color grading, sound mix and captions for social channels.
• Identify exciting potential video/photo topics and organize shoots.
• Plan interviews, storyboards, scripts and potential castings to turn general concepts into highly engaging, shareable pieces.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and jump on them quickly.

About You

• Proven experience in producing professional quality scripted and unscripted video (showreel or portfolio required).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Film, Design, Communication or related field.
• Confidence in writing video copy/scripts.
• Social media content creation skills (TikTok/Reels, YouTube, etc.) are a huge plus.
• Keen interest in the latest trends in social media and digital video platforms.
• Ability to work independently with a team.
• Willingness to work outside office hours and meet tight deadlines when necessary.
• Passionate about city life and the topics we cover.
• Excellent understanding of digital media trends and what makes content shareable online.
• Can do attitude, proactive and sees tasks through to completion.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Media Encoder.
• Comfortable creating video and still imagery using digital cameras (Sony Alpha, GoPro, iPhone, etc.).
• Motion graphics and titling experience.
• Ability to create diverse video formats such as cinematographs, GIFs and typographical animation.
• Knowledge of digital media fundamentals (codecs, image types, resolutions, frame rates, digital workflows).
• Experience conducting interviews.
• Basic color correction (Premiere) and sound design/mixing (Premiere, Audition).
