Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Content Planning & Calendar Ownership: Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars for Snapchat and YouTube, ensuring alignment with product launches, campaigns, and regional needs.
- Video Optimization: Lead optimization of video formats (titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, lengths, hooks) tailored to platform algorithms.
- Performance Insights: Partner with Analytics to generate monthly performance reports for Snapchat and YouTube, highlighting trends, learnings, and opportunities for growth.
- Platform & Trend Intelligence: Present insights on new YouTube and Snapchat features each month, with practical recommendations for integration.
- Creative Contribution: Provide creative input during campaign planning by recommending content formats or trends specific to video-first channels.
- Cross-functional Alignment: Liaise with Marketing, Creative, and PR to ensure YouTube and Snapchat content plans support wider campaigns.
- Testing & Experimentation: Drive A/B testing of formats (thumbnails, hooks, video lengths) to refine performance strategies.
- Community Insights: Track and share insights from comments/engagement on YouTube and Snapchat to inform strategy (not day-to-day community management).
- Broader Social Support: Contribute to social media strategy across Instagram and TikTok when relevant, supporting platform-specific campaigns and content planning as part of the wider social ecosystem.
