About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Social Science Teacher to teach students from 8th to 10th Standard (Maharashtra State Board). The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics while ensuring syllabus completion, conceptual understanding, and exam readiness.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, result-focused, and capable of handling board-level preparation with structured planning.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) for Std. 8th, 9th, and 10th (Maharashtra Board).
• Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with the Maharashtra State Board syllabus.
• Ensure timely completion and revision of the syllabus.
• Conduct regular tests, assessments, and paper-solving sessions.
• Prepare students for SSC Board examinations with focus on scoring techniques and answer-writing formats.
• Provide individual attention to students to strengthen weak areas.
• Maintain academic records, test performance reports, and attendance.
• Communicate student progress to parents when required.
• Develop notes, worksheets, and question banks for exam preparation.
• Encourage interactive and engaging classroom learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arts (B.A./M.A.) with specialization in Social Science subjects.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferably Maharashtra Board).
• Experience teaching SSC Board students will be an advantage.
