Social Service Parent Aide

Parent Aide

Seeking highly motivated individuals with skills to provide parent aide services to families and children in the Greater Kansas City, Missouri area. The contractor must be willing to work with a diverse population by providing support, guidance, and positive role modeling. The contractor must have the ability to teach parenting skills and/or supervise visits with families. Weekly reports are required. Visits may also require transporting children. The contractor must have exceptional interpersonal skills, writing skills, and be flexible.

Requirements:

• High school or GED required - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or Criminal Justice) and/or experience working with families
• Adequate transportation
• Valid Driver’s License and Current Insurance
• Must be able to pass a background check
• 21 years of age
