Social Studies & Geography (Secondary & Preps)

Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies and Geography in alignment with the school curriculum for the assigned grade levels.

• Deliver well-structured lessons covering history, civics, culture, physical geography, human geography, and environmental studies.

• Design engaging learning activities using maps, charts, digital tools, and real-world examples.

• Assess students through classwork, assignments, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

• Incorporate modern, activity-based, and student-centered teaching strategies.

• Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Social Sciences, Geography, Education, or a related field (B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred).

• Strong command of spoken and written English.

• Relevant teaching experience at Secondary, O Levels(Grade 6, 7, 8)

• Ability to manage classrooms effectively and communicate concepts clearly.

• Good understanding of maps, global patterns, and geographical tools.
