Job Title: Social Studies Teacher Cambridge Curriculum

Location: Ambitus World School - Gunadala, Vijayawada

Department: Secondary Grade.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Studies Teacher to deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE, or AS/A Levels).

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons for Social Studies/Global Perspectives/History/Geography as per the Cambridge curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and learning materials that align with Cambridge assessment standards.
• Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage students to explore global, cultural, and historical perspectives.
• Assess, record, and report on the development and progress of students.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, or a related discipline & B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge or international school setting.
• Strong understanding of Cambridge Social Studies or Global Perspectives curriculum.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
