
Key Responsibilities
- Provide social and emotional support to students or beneficiaries.
- Identify behavioral, emotional, or welfare concerns and escalate when necessary.
- Coordinate with teachers, counselors, parents, and external specialists regarding student well-being.
- Support implementation of mental health awareness and well-being programs.
- Conduct basic assessments, observations, and follow-up reports.
- Assist in developing individualized support plans for students or beneficiaries with psychological or social challenges.
- Organize workshops related to mental health, social development, child protection, and emotional resilience.
- Maintain confidential records and documentation.
- Support safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve welfare and educational outcomes.
- Participate in community outreach or welfare initiatives when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare, Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Experience in educational institutions, NGOs, counseling centers, or welfare organizations is preferred.
- Understanding of child/adolescent behavior and mental health principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and confidentially.
- Good report writing and case documentation skills.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
