At 1 Care Premier Services, we believe the best social workers understand both the people they serve and the systems that support them. We're looking for a motivated Social Work Intern to join our team and help lead an exciting project to transition our organization from paper records to a modern electronic records system.

This isn't just filing paperwork—it's an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in healthcare operations, HIPAA compliance, Medicaid services, quality improvement, and case management while working alongside experienced professionals.

Most importantly, this internship is designed to serve as a pipeline into a full-time Case Manager position after graduation for high-performing interns.

What You'll Do

You'll play a key role in helping our agency modernize while learning how community-based healthcare organizations operate.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize and prepare client records for electronic conversion
• Scan, index, and upload confidential documents into our electronic record system
• Conduct quality assurance reviews for record accuracy and completeness
• Assist with HIPAA-compliant records management
• Support office operations and compliance initiatives
• Learn documentation standards used in healthcare and social services
• Observe and shadow Case Managers and other professionals
• Participate in team meetings and gain exposure to client care coordination

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking students who are:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited BSW or MSW program
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Passionate about serving individuals and families
• Comfortable using technology and willing to learn new systems
• Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
• Interested in healthcare, behavioral health, aging services, or community-based programs

Previous office or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation

• BSW/MWS Students: $16 per hour

Flexible part-time and full-time schedules are available based on school requirements.
