Under the supervision of the Director of Access at Bradley Hospital and the Director of Brown University Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Emergency Services (LPBHES) and within hospital and department policies and procedures, assists with answering the Kids’ Link hotline and either offers appropriate resources or triages youth needing a crisis assessment to the most appropriate location.

BSW from an accredited school of Social Work. Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to child and adolescent patients with consideration of human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.
Relevant case management experience required. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally both on the phone and with colleagues.
Performs independently within department policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to supervisor where clarification of departmental policies and procedures may be required.
