$1,000 signing bonus! Completes preadmission screenings for individuals requesting crisis stabilization services to determine eligibility for program services and/or to recommend an alternative level of care. Conducts brief assessments. As part of a two person team, provides crisis intervention, short-term and solution-focused counseling, and intensive case management services in the individual’s home when appropriate. Facilitates individual’s transition to appropriate aftercare service. Shifts available for Monday – Friday from 4:00 p.m. – 12 midnight with availability to stay beyond if needed for crisis response.
Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work with current Michigan licensure required. Must have two years of experience working in the mental health field with proven crisis intervention skills. Consideration given for a bachelor’s degree in human services with two years of experience working in the mental health field required. Knowledge of substance use disorders with current CAADC credential preferred. Master’s degree in social work with current Michigan licensure, preferred. Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license and availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
