Social Worker- Nauru Deployment

Country Location: Republic of Nauru

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Social Worker to support vulnerable individuals, families, and communities. You’ll play a vital role in improving social wellbeing, advocating for clients, and connecting people to essential services in a resource-limited island nation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and support individuals and families facing health, mental health, housing, or social challenges
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate health, counselling, legal, or community services
• Advocate for clients and assist in case management and crisis intervention
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare providers, schools, and law enforcement
• Support child protection and family welfare initiatives
• Maintain accurate case files and follow ethical and legal guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (Master’s preferred)
• Valid registration or license (if applicable in your country)
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in social work or human services
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cultural sensitivity skills
• Experience in cross-cultural or remote settings preferred
