Small-group practice in the German Village area of Columbus. Must be post-licensed for a minimum of 3 years with provider status on some managed care insurance panels. • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individual sessions utilizing approaches such as behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and clinical counseling techniques.
• Manage intake processes efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation of patient histories and treatment goals.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate interventions and monitor progress over time.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records with care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure holistic patient care.
• Document all clinical activities thoroughly in medical records, adhering to medical terminology standards.
• Facilitate behavioral health programs such as group therapy sessions aimed at promoting mental wellness and social integration.

Experience

• Proven experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling, ideally with a background in social work or psychology.
• Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy methods.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
• Ability to perform intake assessments efficiently while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Prefer LISW, LSW, or LPCC with at least 3 years of experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
