Soft ESB Programming

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Soft ESB programmer position works under the direction of the Programming Manager in providing product support and development activities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the Programming Manager in the timely delivery of projects by creating, updating and processing documentation related to software development, testing and release.
  • Develops in-depth knowledge and understanding of the applications and implementation tools.
  • Develops an ability to implement and maintain components providing application functionality.
  • Develops an ability to provide programming support of applications by troubleshooting reported problems and providing possible solutions.
  • Complies with all approved procedures, directives and guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


Education Required:

An Associate’s degree in a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology related field is desired.

Experience Required:

  • The person in this position must have experience with MS Office products.
  • Working knowledge one of the following languages: C, C++/.NET, Java, SQL.

  • Should have the ability to work independently while performing effectively in a team environment.
  • The ability to define priorities and respond accordingly in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must possess both analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be very detailed oriented.
  • Must have excellent writing and documentation skills.
