Key Responsibilities

In Money Fellows, as a Backend Engineer, you should maintain the delivery and quality behind the scenes. Supporting the backend team all the way through Architect, Design, Develop, Integrate, and Tune across different platforms, tools, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize robust and scalable APIs, Microservices and Database.
Engage with Tech/Non-tech teams to analyze features.
Help building DevOps containerization / orchestration strategy with the DevOps team.
Profile, tune, scale and optimize execution of existing queries and functions.
Perform and monitor code reviews, unit testing, test automation and CI.
Investigate and research new frameworks, services and tools.
Utilize minimal resources to deliver maximum outputs.
Basic Infrastructure and cloud services deployment and maintenance.
Engage with Front-end and UX team members to deliver features.

Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. You will be an active and contributory member in People team, with a direct impact on the culture and business trajectory in your country.

Other qualifications include:

Minimum 2 years of experience in .NET development or other OOP.
In-depth experience with the following:
Source code control tools like GitHub and scaffolding tools like EF.Core.
CI/CD, Cloud Providers (AWS or Azure), API Security.
Database profiling and optimization for both RDBMS & NoSQL.
Microservices and modular architecture.
3rd party integrations.

A plus: · Experience with:

A/B Testing and Serverless concepts/tools.
Platform monitoring tools and fraud detection.
Serverless architecture.
Message Brokers and Queues.
Code scanners and inspectors (ex. SonarQube).
