- VMware NSX Expertise: Hands-on experience with NSX Manager, NSX Edge, distributed firewall, logical switches/routers, and micro-segmentation. Ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot virtual networks.
- Nutanix Flow: Ability to configure and manage Nutanix Flow policies for network segmentation, security, and traffic monitoring within AHV clusters.
- SDN / Virtual Networking: Understanding of VXLAN, VLANs, overlay/underlay networking, routing, and switching in virtualized environments
- Network Security & Policy Enforcement : Implementing micro-segmentation, firewall rules, NAT, load balancing, and access control policies. Ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.
- Automation & Scripting : Use of NSX or Nutanix Flow APIs, PowerCLI, Python, REST scripts, or templates to automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Experience with vRealize Network Insight, Prism, NSX Manager dashboards, or third-party monitoring tools. Ability to perform root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues
- Backup & DR for SDN : Understanding SDN configuration backup, disaster recovery procedures, and failover for critical network policies
