Software Developer

Entity: Oracle America, Inc.

Job Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Position requires:

1. Algorithms, data structures and Object-Oriented programming languages, including C++, Java, and C;

2. Scripting languages, including Bash, Perl, Python, Terraform, and Powershell;

3. Oracle database and PL/SQL;

4. Networking concepts, including TCP, UDP, and HTTP;

5. Linux;

6. Software Architecture and Design using Java;

7. Database systems, relational or non-relational;

8. Cloud computing; and

9. Distributed systems.
