Software Developer -Insurance Domain

Job Overview

We have an urgent requirement for a Software Developer with experience in the Insurance domain for a client in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain insurance domain software applications.
• Work on core insurance systems including policy, claims, underwriting, billing, or related platforms.
• Collaborate with business users and analysts to understand insurance workflows and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize Oracle Database objects including queries, procedures, packages, and functions.
• Perform application debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
• Support application enhancements, production issues, and change requests.
• Participate in code reviews, follow coding standards, and best practices.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation and support UAT activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of total experience as a Software Engineer / Software Developer.
• Experience working in the Insurance domain (mandatory).
• Hands on experience working with insurance domain software applications (mandatory).
• Hands on experience with Oracle Database (Preferred).
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
