Software developer/Python Developer

Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurugram. Exceptional candidates may be considered for other locations.

Responsibilities

• You will be expected to do development, integration and testing for our products.
• Own and develop product features from concept to implementation.
• Develop solutions and product features which are highly scalable to deal with huge data volumes, highly available, and extensible to onboard new clients.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Managers, UX designers and end users, integrating software components into a fully functional system.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of Software Development experience with proficiency in Python or equivalent object-oriented languages, coupled with design and SOA.

Required Skills

• Demonstrate exceptional SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and loading across various sources.
• Strong in OOPs concept, Inheritance, Polymorphism.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and address product gaps by implementing new requirements.
• Work closely with the technical architect to design and implement solutions.
• Utilize in-house developed frameworks to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
• Clear Hacker Rank to showcase technical proficiency.
• Someone who has worked in Apex Fund Services and Aries platforms will be a neat fit.
• Experience in working with applications hosted on AWS to Deploy applications in the cloud using Kubernetes, and Docker; manage pipelines and ensure scalability.
• Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on the specifications.
• Deep problem-solving ability and analytical skills to resolve ambiguous requirements.
• Attention to details and quality and having the ability to work well in teams.
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.
• Knowledge on Investment domain, post-trade workflows / financial data, fund and investor accounting etc is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with financial services and investment management.
