Software Development Engineer

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the frontend architecture of our platform. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to create fast, scalable, and maintainable React.js and Next.js applications. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React.js and Next.js .
• Build scalable and high-performance UI components with a strong emphasis on responsiveness and usability.
• Optimize frontend performance by implementing best practices in code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and SSR (Server-Side Rendering).
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other data sources efficiently.
• Own the frontend architecture, ensuring it is modular, maintainable, and scalable.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and UX teams to translate ideas into a seamless user experience.
• Ensure high-quality code with proper unit testing, integration testing, and automation.
• Implement and maintain state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improving team processes.
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on frontend development experience with React.js and Next.js .
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering), ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration), and SSG (Static Site Generation) in Next.js .
• Strong knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).
• Experience optimizing performance using techniques like code-splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and caching strategies.
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks and component libraries (e. g., TailwindCSS, Material-UI, Chakra UI).
• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, ESBuild).
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library), and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools for UI collaboration.
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
