What you'll do:

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer level 2 (SDE2) to join our Noon Food engineering team, working on mobile application and web platforms. You will build and scale high-quality, user-centric interfaces that support real-time operations, ensuring smooth, responsive, and reliable experiences. A strong focus on craftsmanship, usability, and professional-grade product quality is essential.

• Take ownership of features end-to-end, from development through to production release
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable frontend components
• Build responsive interfaces that perform reliably across mobile and web platforms
• Contribute to delivering seamless and intuitive user experiences
• Apply strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js to build high-quality applications
• Utilize modern frontend tooling (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM) effectively in development workflows
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to improve team efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience building mobile-first, consumer-facing applications
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, and JSON-based APIs
• Experience with Node.js / Express
• Strong focus on user experience, performance, and production quality
• Proven experience debugging and maintaining live, production systems at scale
• Knowledge of handling differences between iOS and Android, including UI design guidelines and performance optimization
• Strong skills in React Native
• Extensive knowledge of native mobile application development
