Summary of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Jenkins Administrator to design, manage, and improve our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with development, quality assurance, architecture, and site reliability engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient build-and-release processes.

In This Role You’ll

• Manage and maintain Jenkins controllers and agents across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments, including upgrades and security configurations.

• Develop and optimize Jenkins pipelines for builds, tests, deployments, and infrastructure automation.

• Integrate Jenkins with tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Nexus, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.

• Implement security measures for credentials, tokens, and compliance with audit and logging standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues, support onboarding, and create automation to prevent recurring problems.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Extensive experience (6–10 years) with CI/CD tools, including at least 4 years in Jenkins administration.

• Hands-on knowledge of Groovy scripting, Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git version control.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Understanding of DevOps practices, build tools (Maven, Gradle, npm, yarn), and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).

• Effective problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with a collaborative approach to mentoring and team support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jenkins Configuration as Code (JCasC) and scalable Jenkins setups.

• Knowledge of security frameworks and DevSecOps principles.

• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Jenkins certification (CJE/CJAC) is welcome but not mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
