Summary of the Role

We’re looking for a Java Developer with practical experience in Java (Spring Boot), microservices, and event-driven architectures. You’ll guide a team of developers, contribute to solution design, support code quality, and help shape architectural decisions that promote scalability, resilience, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Guide the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-quality microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Contribute to event-driven systems using Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
Work with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases to support efficient data modeling and performance.
Participate in solution design studies, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and technology evaluations.
Promote coding standards, conduct code reviews, and share best practices.

About the Ideal Candidate

Good programming skills in Java, with practical experience in Spring Boot.
Experience designing and implementing microservice-based systems.
Familiarity with Apache Kafka in production environments.
Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies.
Understanding of event-driven systems, messaging patterns, and RESTful APIs.

Additional Experience (Helpful but not Required)

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, ELK, or Grafana.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
