Software Development Expert.Customer and Partner Management

Job Purpose

Mentor and lead team to develop systems, manipulate configuration and provide support with a focus in delivering high quality technology supported products and services to our internal and external customers.

Report To Position Name

Maintain and modify the software and system configurations of production, staged, and test applications. Interface with different stakeholders to determine and propose appropriate and effective technology solutions to meet business and technical objectives. Provide tech leadership to the team for backend engineering (micro-services, messaging, storage etc). Develop interfaces, applications and other technical solutions to support the business needs through the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance phases of the software and systems development lifecycle. Create system requirements, technical specifications, and test plans and review technical designs. Define the scope of technical projects; provide milestones, identify dependencies and development time estimates. Provide after-hours support Lead, train and mentor the team members working them. Create technical documentation as needed. Work independently as well as in a collaborative environment. Stay updated with the prevalent technologies and trends.

QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

BS or MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL

8+ years of experience in software engineering. Strong experience in software design and architecture. Strong Experience going through the full software cycle of requirements, design, coding/testing, code review, rollout/deploy standard methodologies in delivering world class software and services. Experience in technical collaboration with other engineers and product owners/managers Proven development experience and proficiency in distributed systems and micro services. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong Experience in programming with Java (vanilla – Spring), SQL/PLSQL, and terminal scripting. Strong Experience in Oracle DB, Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker & k8s. Good to know Intellij, Nexus, Jira, Grafana, Loki, Jenkins, App Dynamics, OpenShift & SonarQube
