Job Purpose

The Software Development Senior Specialist will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development principles and a willingness to learn and grow within the team.

Software Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with team members, including developers, testers, and project managers, to understand project requirements and deliverables. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with team members and stakeholders. Contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning activities. Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software reliability and performance. Identify and troubleshoot software defects, providing solutions to ensure software stability and quality. Assist in integrating and testing software with existing systems and applications. Documentation and Reporting: Document software design, code, and processes to ensure clear understanding and ease of maintenance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software development trends and technologies. Prepare and present progress reports and technical documentation as needed. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve software development processes. Actively seek feedback and opportunities for professional growth and skill development.

QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms. Proficiency in writing and debugging code, with a focus on quality and performance. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.

EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL
