Software Engineer

We are looking for an Software Engineer to join our operations at DP World’s Yarımca and Körfez terminals. This role will be part of the Technical Solutions team, focusing on enhancing port operations through digital solutions and automation projects. Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and system integrations supporting port, logistics, and corporate operations.
• Deliver low-code automation solutions, enabling business units to digitalize processes quickly and efficiently.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases and data pipelines, ensuring reliability, performance, and data integrity.
• Create and maintain reporting and analytics solutions (e.g., Power BI, SQL, SSRS) to provide accurate and timely business insights.
• Collaborate with ERP and Software Specialists to align solutions across Finance, HR, Warehouse, and Terminal Operations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DP World Group Technology standards, information security policies, and global best practices.
• Provide second-line support for business applications, troubleshooting incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
Partner with global IT teams and external vendors during solution delivery, upgrades, and integration projects.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in low-code platforms, process automation, or database technologies are an advantage.
• 2–4 years of experience in software development, system integration, or automation projects.
• Practical knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and port operations (yard, gate, and vessel activities).
• Experience in low-code platforms (workflow automation, forms, dashboards) for business process digitalization.
• Familiarity with ERP (Finance, HR) and WMS processes is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with database design, SQL development, and reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS, SQL Server Report Builder).
• Exposure to working with external vendors and global IT teams in a multi-cultural environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken Turkish and English .
• Willingness to work in Kocaeli.
