Software Engineer

Role Brief:

Halan Microfinance Bank is looking out for a versatile Software Developer with expertise in C#, ASP.NET WebForms, jQuery, Bootstrap, SQL, Desktop Development, and API Development/Integration to work in a banking environment. The role majorly involves developing, integrating, and maintaining applications to support banking operations, reconciliation processes, intranet systems, and desktop utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET WebForms, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Develop and maintain C# desktop applications, including automation tools and internal banking utilities.
• Implement multithreading and task-based programming in desktop applications for high-performance data processing.
• Build, consume, and integrate APIs for banking operations and third-party system connectivity.
• Develop solutions for bank reconciliation through external API integrations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views for reporting, reconciliation, and data management.
• Maintain and enhance the internal intranet portal with updates, modules, and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both applications and SQL queries for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with banking security standards and data confidentiality policies.
• Preferred Skills:
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET WebForms, Windows Forms for desktop apps.
• Experience in multithreading, parallel programming, and task-based asynchronous operations.
• Hands-on with SQL Server: complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in API development and integration (REST, SOAP).
• Front-end skills in jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with banking processes (reconciliation, intranet workflows, inventory).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
