Overview:
ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver advanced solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on development experience across multiple ServiceNow modules, and the ability to lead complex implementations and mentor junior engineers. This role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership to ensure the ServiceNow platform meets business and IT needs.

Mandatory Domain Skills -> Telco Domain – BSS/OSS
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., TSM, SOMT, OMT, TNI, GRC, SecOps).
  • Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automation using ServiceNow tools (JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub).
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and architects to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise applications (REST, SOAP, APIs, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
  • Contribute to and guide CMDB design, discovery, and service mapping.
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and best practices across implementations.
  • Provide technical mentorship to ServiceNow developers and junior engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and architecture discussions.
  • Stay current on ServiceNow releases and features, recommending enhancements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and reusable solution patterns.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience with proven hands-on expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least two additional modules (CSM, HRSD, GRC, or SecOps).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, SSO, LDAP, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices.
  • Experience with CMDB and Discovery.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
