About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled AV/IT Engineer to join our Engineering & Projects team. You will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Audio-Visual (AV) and IT systems across a variety of client projects. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and attention to quality to ensure seamless delivery of integrated smart building, network, and AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission AV/IT systems including displays, projectors, speakers, conferencing systems, racks, switches, routers, wireless access points, and structured cabling.
• Support design and project management teams by interpreting schematics, rack layouts, and wiring diagrams for accurate execution.
• Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure for AV/IT interoperability (VLANs, IP addressing, PoE, device registration, etc.).
• Perform structured cabling works (Cat6/Cat6A/Fibre), patch panel termination, testing, labelling, and certification per international standards.
• Conduct system testing, AV tuning, and prepare commissioning reports for client handover.
• Assist clients with system training, documentation, and post-installation support.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain delivery timelines and technical standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in AV/IT system installation and commissioning (corporate, hospitality, or smart building environments).
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow, control systems, and networking principles.
• Hands-on experience with leading AV brands (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, Loxone, Atlona) and networking equipment (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Aruba).
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and fibre optic testing advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication and client-facing abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• CTS / CTS-I (AVIXA)
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+
• Manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Loxone)
• HSE / Working at Heights / MEWP certifications desirable
