Responsibilities:-
Server Administration: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022).

Active Directory: Manage and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs), user and computer accounts, and security permissions.

Virtualization: Administer and support virtualized environments using VMware vSphere (ESXi & vCenter) or Hyper-V.

Storage Management: Manage and maintain server storage solutions (SAN, NAS, local storage).

Networking: Collaborate with the networking team to ensure seamless server connectivity and network performance. Troubleshoot network-related server issues.

Security: Implement and maintain server security best practices, including patching, vulnerability management, and intrusion detection/prevention.

Backup & Recovery: Manage and test server backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.

Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Proactively monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize system performance.

Incident Management: Respond to and resolve complex server-related incidents in a timely manner, escalating as needed.

Project Implementation: Participate in the planning and implementation of server-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior system administrators.

On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24x7 support for critical systems.
Qualifications:-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Windows Server Administrator with increasing responsibility. Demonstrated experience in a Level 3 support role.
Technical Skills:-
Operating Systems: Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.

Virtualization: Strong experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi & vCenter) or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Storage: Experience with SAN/NAS technologies and storage management best practices.

Security: Knowledge of Windows Server security features and best practices.
