Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Male/Female) Karachi based who can design a unified system by compiling and integrating different software tools into one functional platform for hospital and community health data management.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in software integration & system design

• Experience working with open-source systems, preferably Open Eye software

• Ability to connect multiple platforms, APIs, and tools into one solution

• Experience with health, hospital, or community data is a plus

• Problem-solver with strong system-thinking skills

Required Expertise & Skills

• Experience in software integration and system architecture/design

• Strong experience working with open-source software platforms

• Preferably experience with Open Eyes (Open Eye software) or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and interoperability frameworks

• Experience integrating multiple platforms into a single ecosystem

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, JavaScript, or similar

• Understanding of healthcare, hospital, or community data systems will be considered an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking approach

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Experience in health informatics, EMR/EHR implementation, DHIS2, or community health data systems

• Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, NGOs, or public health programs

• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools

• Understanding of clinical workflow customization and form configuration
