Software Engineer, ContribService, Multimodal

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in C++ programming languages.
2 years of experience working with spanner.
2 years of experience with backend software development.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience in any one of these: pod, GoogleSQL, flume, or scaffolding.

You will collaborate with teammates and client teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions, participate in design reviews, and contribute to the system's long-term health and roadmap.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Build production-ready, reliable, and secure systems at a very large scale, ensuring multi-tenant efficiency while optimizing for latency and cost.
Collaborate directly with product teams to power global services, including Gemini, Google Play Store, Google Maps infrastructure, and Google Search.
