Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Database Admin with strong expertise in Mongo DB to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Strong expertise in MongoDB and Oracle Database Administration — installation, configuration, tuning, and maintenance.
Proficient in SQL with deep experience in query writing, analysis, and optimization.
Hands-on experience in Tableau development, including dashboard design, report automation, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of DDL/DML operations, schema management, and database modeling.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must have skills:
Strong expertise in MongoDB and Oracle Database Administration — installation, configuration, tuning, and maintenance.
Proficient in SQL with deep experience in query writing, analysis, and optimization.
Hands-on experience in Tableau development, including dashboard design, report automation, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of DDL/DML operations, schema management, and database modeling.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting database optimization.
Knowledge of backup strategies, replication, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and basic scripting (Shell/Python/SQL).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an eye for detail and data accuracy.
Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders effectively.
